NOIA Supports Royalty Policy Committee Recommendations on Offshore Energy Development

Washington, D.C. – NOIA Vice President of Communications and Industry Affairs Nicolette Nye issued the following statement regarding recommendations made today by the Royalty Policy Committee:

“NOIA supports the Royalty Policy Committee’s recommendations which promote offshore energy development in American waters through a more consistent offshore wind leasing program and through expansion of the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act to include U.S. territories. NOIA urges Secretary Zinke to adopt these strong policy recommendations and to continue to promote energy dominance for the American people."
