A 30+ year veteran of the seismic industry having held a series of progressive management roles within Western Geco and Omni Energy Services, including operations management, geophysical design and support, business development, and QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment). Moved to ION in 2007, as Vice President, Operations.
Served as Chairman of the IAGC BOD (2002-2003), and currently represents ION on the IAGC board.
Co-authored National Petroleum Council white paper on "Arctic Potential - Realizing the Promise of US Arctic Oil and Gas Resources".
Holds several patents for development of seismic acquisition technology and methods, including arctic under-ice operations.
Currently SVP of Operations and Engineering for ION Geophysical, responsible for acquisition project planning and execution, as well as technology development.
