DESCRIPTION:Ransomware attacks are highly disruptive\, involve multi-million dollar ransoms\, and handling these attacks requires very different skills from traditional breach response.  Dealing with ransomware threat actors involves direct negotiation with these groups\, and critical decisions on whether to pay the ransom\, negotiating the lowest possible ransom and preparing the organization for the possible consequences of non-payment\, public disclosure etc.\, as well as developing and implementing a post-breach plan. \nBooz Allen's Incident Response leader Jerry Bessette\, leveraging his 24-years of FBI experience\, has led numerous clients through complex ransom negotiations to achieve the best possible outcomes.  Booz Allen is committed to its client's success and we look forward to sharing with the NOIA membership the lessons learned and keys to successful outcomes when dealing with Ransomware Threat Actors.

DESCRIPTION:The objective of this year’s annual meeting is to focus on the transition to a new administration and discuss the new political energy landscape . Key policy makers will be invited to speak virtually Wednesday\, April 14th to Thursday\, April 15th. While we wont be able to visit each other in person\, the meeting agenda will still be filled with informative and timely speakers. \nNOIA members\, government employees and allied trades are welcomed to choose their own registration fee. The suggested registration fee is $375. Perspective members or non-members must be invited by a current NOIA member and pay a registration fee of $375.
