The National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA) presented Arena Offshore with the 2017 NOIA Safety in Seas (SIS) Culture of Safety Award today during the association’s annual meeting in Washington, DC. Arena Offshore won the Culture of Safety Award in recognition of its remarkable safety culture transformation since 2011.
Mike McCauley, Operations General Manager for Arena Offshore accepted the award saying, “Arena Offshore is honored that our accomplishments in achieving transformational change to our organization’s safety culture has been recognized by NOIA with this prestigious award.
We remain passionately committed to our key operating principles and to the practices which have enabled us to achieve our results. Enhanced safety focused partnerships with our key contractor partners continues to drive improvement in our safety and environmental performance through effective pre-job planning, recognition and mitigation of potential hazards, and control of critical work activities.
