Aries Marine Corporation
Court Ramsay’s dedication to excellence in service, safety at sea, and environmental stewardship is evident in Aries Marine’s irrefutable record of success for the past forty years. Having started in his family’s business while in high school, Court has been close to Aries since its inception.
After high school and during his undergraduate years, however, Court was involved in the equine industry as an internationally ranked jockey and training member of the U.S. EQUESTRIAN TEAM. Phasing out of and as a transition from horses to his eventual return to Aries, Court was employed in the Virginia wine making region by Swedenburg Wineries out of Middleburg, VA.
Now, three decades after rejoining Aries at the Corporate level, he is credited with advancing Aries’ Health, Safety and Environmental policies along with employee retention and continuing education programs. As President and C.E.O. he has steered the business through growth and adoption of green technologies as well as diversification into new markets, both domestic and foreign. Strategically, the company’s 20 vessels are split between the Gulf of Mexico and the MidAtlantic with vessel ownership in the Far East.
