Assaad Mohanna is Sr. Director of Low Carbon Solutions at NOV out of Houston Texas. He leads CCUS and other energy transition initiatives through technology advancement, business development and strategy implementation. Assaad has been with NOV for 15 years, taking various operational roles in Dubai, Edmonton, and Dammam, before relocating to the US in 2014.
Assaad is a licensed Professional Engineer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut. He is also a graduate of the Purdue University Advanced Leadership program, and an MBA from Rice University. He also serves as Chairman of the IADC Advanced Rig Technology Committee.
