Workforce of the Future Luncheon

Reserve your spot to attend the NOIA Workforce of the Future! Join NOIA and a panel of thought leaders and experts in a conversation about the challenges for the industry in attracting and retaining the talent necessary to build the workforce of the future! Co-sponsored and hosted by the Rice University's Baker Institute for Public Policy Center for Energy Studies, the luncheon will address critical challenges impacting the energy workforce, including:

  1. Overcoming challenges with recruiting the next generation into the energy industry;
  2. Creating an appealing work environment for everyone, including adapting workforce expectations to the next generation; and
  3. Approaches to improving diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and fostering an inclusive work environment. 

Confirmed speakers include: Jeannie Gardner, Board Chair for Girls, Inc. of Greater Houston and Global Leader Digital & Asset Transformation for KBC; Benigna Cortés Leiss, a fellow at the Baker Institute and former general director of Chevron Energía de México; Massiel Diez, co-host of the Flipping the Barrel podcast and MCA Reservoir Performance Sales for SLB; and Jamie Elrod, co-host of Flipping the Barrel podcast and Sales Director Americas for Baker Hughes. Jennifer Medcalf, President of The REACH Group and Chair of the NOIA Public Affairs & Education Committee, will moderate.
