HR 6 Provisions on 98/99 Leases – Legal Opinion

A provision of H.R. 6, a bill that passed the House of Representatives and which, if passed by the Senate and enacted into law, would impose new fees and restrictions on industry.  Particularly affected are those companies holding leases from 1998 and 1999 that do not contain price thresholds for the royalty relief provisions.
