NOIA Applauds Confirmation of Deputy Interior Secretary David Bernhardt

Washington, D.C. – National Ocean Industries Association President Randall Luthi today issued the following statement on the confirmation of Deputy Interior Secretary David Bernhardt:

“At long last, the Senate has confirmed David Bernhardt to be Deputy Secretary of the Interior and it could not have come at a better time. Simply put, he is beyond qualified. As a veteran of the Department, David brings a deep knowledge of the culture of its many bureaus and offices. He will hit the ground running, and will be a great asset to President Trump and Secretary Zinke in their efforts to enhance both development and protection of natural resources. NOIA congratulates David and looks forward to working with him in his role of Deputy Secretary.”
