NOIA Supports Bipartisan Energy, Efficiency and Sustainability Efforts
Washington, D.C. – National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA) President Erik G. Milito issued the following statement after submitting letters of support for bipartisan energy and sustainability legislative debate in the Senate:
“We strongly encourage Senate Leadership to bring bipartisan energy, efficiency and sustainability legislation to the floor for consideration and debate. America can be the leader in energy production and climate solutions, and these bills are a tangible step in both directions. These bills provide a bipartisan alternative to breathless politicking and promote policies that further American innovation and ingenuity.
“As NOIA membership has continuously shown, new technology and innovation – not energy bans – are what lead to actionable and sustainable energy and climate solutions. NOIA looks forward to working with the Senate, House and the Administration on these bills and other energy and sustainability programs.”
