Pferdehirt appointed CEO of FMC Technologies

Douglas J. Pferdehirt has been named president and chief executive officer of FMC Technologies Inc. effective Sept. 1.

Pferdehirt will succeed John T. Gremp, who will continue to serve as chairman until he retires in May 2017 while the company completes its transition to the new chief executive officer. Pferdehirt also will succeed Gremp in the chairman role.
