Jeff McMenis is the Environmental Manager supporting Shell’s Gulf of Mexico portfolio. In his current role, Jeff leads a team of highly-valued environmental professionals that provide oversight to multiple regulatory programs, including but not limited to USEPA water discharge permits, USEPA/LDEQ waste management programs and BOEM/BSEE environmental programs. Jeff is strong supporter of Shell’s goals of Achieving Net-Zero Emissions and Respecting Nature. Through these lenses, Jeff has facilitated an evolving focus on Greenhouse Gas emission reduction opportunities on offshore production facilities and the logistics support organizations.
Jeff graduated LSU in 2000 with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Louisiana State University and a Master of Business Administration from University of New Orleans in 2010. Over his 15 years with Shell, Jeff has led multiple environmental improvement initiatives holding positions in the Deepwater GoM Environmental Team and the Environmental Department at the Norco Manufacturing Complex. He resides in Metairie, Louisiana with his wife, Marcy and children, Mason & Morgan. He is active soccer parent, coaching his son’s middle school soccer team, and enjoying the greater outdoors when the Louisiana heat isn’t too extreme.
