Senate Energy Bill Invests in American Energy

Washington, D.C. – National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA) President Erik G. Milito issued the following statement after the introduction of S. 2657, the American Energy Innovation Act (AEIA):

“American innovation is second to none, and the bipartisan AEIA is a strong investment in the American energy future. From carbon capture, utilization and storage to energy storage to wind energy research and development, AEIA offers real-world solutions that will enable the U.S. to increase energy security while pursing environmental stewardship. By modernizing U.S. energy policies, we can empower technology and innovation to the benefit of everyone.
