Government Affairs Committee

The Government Affairs Committee coordinates the efforts of the association on legislative and administrative issues affecting the offshore oil and gas industry. The committee develops positions and strategies, and advocates on behalf of the association before the Congress and the Administration, seeking laws, regulations and policies that will support and enhance the mission of the association. In addition, the committee educates the membership of the association on issues affecting the offshore oil and gas industry.

The Government Affairs Committee provides an open forum for discussion of timely issues, and because of the potential impact of these issues, each member company has a representative on this committee.
